About Anna Barrera


Anna Barrera's love and enthusiasm for food finds full expression in Anna B's Kitchen. She grew up outside of Chico working on her parents plum orchard. Her love of fresh and local produce/food was nurtured by her mother who had a year round fruit and vegetable gardens.  


Anna graduated from Chico State with a major in English, but found true happiness  in the kitchen. She traveled to New York City to attend and graduate from the Institute of Culinary Education. After graduation she returned to the Bay Area to work as a baker at Fog City Diner, Buckeye Road, Jardinere and Chez Panisse and then as a pastry chef at Modern Catering, Gordon's and Rose Pistola.  


Since 2002, Anna has worked at Pan-o-Rama Baking Company and at creating her own brand of delicious food both savory and sweet. She looks forward to delivering wonderful food to you and bringing the joy of cooking to your home and events.
